|  )(Olive)(Addie)( Penn)(I walked barefoot on the sandy shore of the beach. After being at camp for 12 years I had gotten to know the feel of the ground. A tear dribbled down my cheek. It was the anniversary of my father's death. I took a deep breath and sat down on the sand. My dark hair fell onto my chest and the sun tickled my face ever so sightly. I still wore my training clothes. I hadn't bothered to change. I drew a picture in the sand. It was a smiley face. It looked so simple. I looked up at the peaceful lake and forced myself to smile. Even though was a forced smile, it made me feel better.

I was sitting by myself, in the shade of a tree that I was leaning up against. It was a cool February day-a little chilly, because of the wind, but still nice. I liked sitting here, alone. No one noticed me, but that's the way that I liked it. Simply watching the world go by. Off in the distance, I saw a girl. She looked as if...as if she was crying. I remember the feeling-it was a while ago, but from what I can remember, I was really only truly sad once. I looked at the girl a little closer. She had drawn something in the sand-I couldn't see what it was; and then she smiled. How strange. "I am beautiful

| )(Olive)(Addie)( Penn)( I noticed a girl sitting in the shade of a tree. I nodded towards her. I turned back towards the lake and watched the waves crash against the shore. The wind had begun to pick up a bit but I barely noticed. It was a sweet, peaceful day. I was still panting a bit from training and the air cooled my skin while the sun tickled my face some more. I tucked my hair behind my ears and bit my lip.

The girl looked at me, and nodded. Did she notice me? Well...that is...diffrent. I turned my head quickly, to look at my dog-a teacup pomeranian, Dragon. He was curled up in a little ball of black fluff at my leg. I smiled at him, I used my two fingers-my middle and my pointer-to rub his little head. Hopefully the girl webt back to what she was doing, and firget she had seen me. "I am beautiful

| )(Olive)(Addie)( Penn)( The girl I had noticed looked away quickly. I started humming to myself. I sighed and looked back at the girl. She seemed very quiet.Just then, I noticed that there was a black dog laying next to her. I looked back ta the lake and ran my fingers through my hair. I bit my lip and held back my tears. My eyes were stinging like crazy. I wished I could just fade away from the world. I was starving and sweaty but I didn't have the heart to take a shower or eat anything. A tear escaped and fell onto the sand.

The girl was...crying. She didn't smell all to well, either. I really enjoyed not being noticed, ans watching the world go by, but I also needed to talk to this girl. I fiddled a little with the key on my neck. Don't worry, I'll find out where you are. I stood up, and picked Dragon up as well. Then, I went over to the girl, and felt all the eyes stairing at me. I knew what they were thinking. Where did she come from? but after a while, you learned to ignore them. " E-exuse me, but are you okay?" My voice was barly audible. It was quiet, and raspey, but I didn't talk much-no one in my family did. The last time that I talked to another human being was probably...a few days ago? Something like that. "I am beautiful

One sitting by the shore, and the other sitting against a tree. Destiny started barking and ran towards the girl sitting against the tree. "Destiny! Get back here!" Holya yelled. She chased after the husky, running towards the girl. When she reached Destiny, she saw that the girl had a dog as well. A black dog, in fact. It seemed to be a pomeranian. Holya looked at the girl. "I am so sorry about that. I'm Holya, by the way. Daughter of Mercury," she said with a warm smile. She held out her hand, waiting for the other girl to shake it. |
