| Kat sat watching the the Little Tiber run by. She'd completed her training for today and now had some free time. She didn't know what to do. Can you swim in the Little Tiber?, she asked herself. But she soon dismissed the idea. It would probably be freezing in there. She sighed softly, gazing at the other side of the river. There wasn't anyone there. No new campers today. Katia was basically twiddling her thumbs when she heard a noise behind her. She spun around to see what it was.

|  Adrienne~Mercury~KendricsI watched a girl spin around and face me. I jumped a bit, surprised. "Sorry! Did I scare you?" I asked the girl. I walked over to where she was sitting. I sat down and crossed my legs. I made a circle in the water with my index finger. I sighed. My training had been finished for quite some time and i had simply been wandering. I wandered a lot and thus, I knew lots of people's names. Although, not a lot of people knew me. "Kat, right? I'm Adrienne." I said, looking up at her. She was very pretty. I took my finger out of the water and wiped the water on it on to my jeans.

| Kat laughed a bit nervously as she sat down next to Adrienne. "Only a bit." she said. "Hi Adrienne. How do you know my name? I've only been here for a day." It was scary that news traveled this fast. Or maybe it was only Adrienne. Hopefully that was the case.. Kat didn't like people noticing her that much. She was very shy in grous of people bigger than 4. |

| I smiled. "Don't worry. When I see a new camper come I always want to know their name." I said simply. I looked down. I decided not to include the fact that the reason for this was because I hoped one could be my friend. Yes, it was best not to say this. I tucked my hair behind my ears and sighed. "Little Tiber can be so peaceful when no one is around."

| Kat nodded thoughtfully. "So who's your Godly parent? And which Cohort are you in?" Maybe they were in the same Cohort? Then she could have afriend, or at least an aqquaintance. It would be even better if they were half-sisters or something. Hopefully she was Mercury. That would be great. Kat knew she probably had a lot of siblings, but she hadn't met any of them yet. |

| I smiled. "Mercury. I'm in the fifth cohort." I hoped she wouldn't judge me on the fact that I was in such an unlucky cohort. "How about you?" I asked. I wondered who her godly parent was. There was no way to be totally sure. I twirled a strand of hair and bit my lip.

| Kat grinned with glee. "My dad's Mercury too! So I guess that means your my sister. Abd I'm in the third cohort." Kat was so excited that she had finally found a sibling. She didn't care that Adrienne was in the 'unlucky' cohort. She didn't even get why it was meant to be unlucky. Just a weird superstion in Kat's opinion. It was mean to judge someone by the group they're in. Mean and stupid. |

| I grinned back at Kat. Kat seemed really excited and I was too. We were half-sisters! I laughed. "That's great!" I exclaimed. I dropped the piece of hair and picked at the grass. I pulled it up from the ground piece by piece. It was a nasty habit.

| "How long have you been here?" Kat asked. She wanted to learna s much as she could about her new half-sister. Besides, Ardienne knew how long Kat had been at camp, why shouldn't Katia know the same. She noticed that Adrienne was pulling the grass out. "That can't be good for the grass." she said thoughtfully. |
