The nanosecond that she hugged me the world melted away around me. When she separated, the whole world filled back. I put my hand on the back of my neck and looked up to see Thessa. Her window was open. I yelled, "Thessa! Close your window." and she did. I looked back at Yoko.

I smiled. "Thanks." I looked him right in the eyes. My cheeks went red. I didn't really know if this was the time to ask him out or if he was gunna like ask me on a date or if he didn't feel the same way. I put my hand on his shoulder, deciding I'll wait till he makes his move. "We should get going. You have to go talk to Travis right." I smiled.

I wanted to ask her out right there. To hug her, and kiss her. But I was petrified that she didn't like me back. I subsided my fears for now and answered her question. "Yeah, sure." We started walking towards the 2nd Cohort.
