He's WAY too powerful. Before I accept him, will you please take away several powers, and tone down the powers he's left with?

Yes, I understand that, but those are basically just all of Percy's powers. Not every child of a god has the same powers, and Percy is too powerful a character to base your talents off of. We don't have to accept him, so if you don't want to tone him done, the staff is okay with having him be unaccepted. It isn't too much to ask to have you take away talents. We ask this of every overpowered character, and I'm not just picking on you.

That's like saying every child of Zeus should be able to fly, control all forms of weather, create energy, lead armies of thousands, summon wind, control everyone, and be made of energy. Thalia Grace, a creation of Rick Riordan himself, can't even fly like her brother. Different kids get different powers, and Percy is easily the most powerful demigod.

For things to get rid of, I don't care, as long as you take away some things that happen with water around him (what he can do with it, how it effects him.) Keep in mind demigods are no where near as powerful as gods, and they can be strong, but it doesn't even come close to amounting to godly strength. The other things can be changed and eliminated at your choosing! Thank you for cooperating, and please don't take this as a personally offense. This really happens to everyone who gives their characters too many abilities! (And they always fight for their powers, so I thank you for making the fight short.)

You realize him having strength etc. that could "arguably rival with a God." is obviously exaggeration, right?

As for the other abilities revolving around water... What else is he meant to do? Doesn't it make logical sense for a child of Neptune, the God of the Seas, to be powerful in Water? What's next? A child of Hades can't summon the undead? Rolling Eyes

You know what.... whatever... Just PM with whatever you want changed and I'll change it. I can't be bothered anymore..

What a great way to be spoken to.

Anyway, most Hades kids can't summon the undead, even Nico has trouble with it, but that's besides the point.

If it an exaggeration, please make that clear. Character topics aren't the place for sarcasm, since it isn't easily interpreted through character topics.

As for the water thing, I didn't say he wasn't allowed to have control over water. I just don't think he should be able the do everything he can do in water. Maybe have his details look something like this:

- Allen is capable of healing most wounds, as well as healing the effects of some poisons when in contact with water.
- Allen, when fully submerged, can control the water around him and propel himself forward at a faster rate, though the speed varies on his current state.
- Allen is able to shoot water in blasts, using only the water around him.
- Allen is able to draw water from objects which may hold water within them, but not from the atmosphere, even if he concentrates hard enough.
- Allen can diffuse the particles of water and draw the out, creating an air bubble for himself, but not for friends of his whom are incapable of breathing underwater.
- Allen can also breathe whilst he is underwater as well as he is unharmed should he fall into water and can survive some form of pressure from water.

(I know everyone likes to copy that exact same exert from Percy's info, because I've seen it used on countless character, and I don't blame you, but it's just too powerful. I'm sorry.)

You realize the list I listed above would be fine, and if I took away something you really liked, you can add it back? But if you would prefer not have have the water thing, than he's accepted, since his detail is exquisite! Allen's been placed in Cohort 5, because of the irony to it all. (Have fun with the plot this could give you!)

What? I'm confused. I don't really understand why you're angry. Your character was finished, accepted, and I was allowing you to add more power.

Just delete the thread.

I'm sorry for whatever I did, but I don't quite understand what.

Anyway, if it's okay with you, I'm going to move it to the Graveyard. I don't want to delete things, and the Graveyard's there are this reason!
